Five $1 million lottery tickets sold in Kentucky in 18 days

While no one hit last night’s Powerball jackpot, one winner in Kentucky did win the game’s second prize of $1 million. This is now the fifth time this has happened in Kentucky in the past 18 days.

The ticket, sold in Crestwood at the Circle K at 6465 W Highway 146, matched all five white ball winning numbers but not the Powerball. The winning numbers are:

3 – 21 – 45 – 53 – 56 with a Powerball of 22.

There were three $50,000 tickets sold for the drawing. They were sold at:

• Mellwood Valero, 1500 Mellwood Ave, Louisville

• Marathon Food Mart, 801 E Main, Lexington

• Five Star, 904 West Stockton, Edmonton

This is the second $1 million Powerball ticket sold during this 18-day stretch, while the other three $1 million winners were in the Mega Millions game.

No winner has come forward with the $1 million ticket sold in Louisville for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

Saturday night’s Powerball drawing now stands at an estimated $750 million, with a $428.6 million cash value. This is the fourth largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history, and the third largest in Powerball game history.
