LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board has announced Buckner “Buck” Hinkle Jr. as a new board member. Hinkle will serve a four-year term on the airport’s 10-member board.
As an attorney in Paris, Hinkle serves as a director, vice president and general counsel for Hinkle Holding Company, LLC. Prior to this position, Hinkle practiced law at Stites & Harbison, PLLC, where he focused on construction law for public and private sector projects.
Hinkle is actively involved in the community and serves as the chair of the board of directors for Morehead State University Foundation and board of regents of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. He is a fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and currently serves on the college’s board of governors.
Hinkle is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association and ABA Forum on Construction.
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport. Its volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and approved by the Urban County Council.
