LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington Marriott City Center Hotels have announced that Courtney Jones has been named director of sales and marketing of the Lexington Marriott City Center and Residence Inn Lexington City Center.
Jones is a Marriott award-winning director of sales and marketing, bringing over 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
“Courtney’s passion for excellence, her vast experience with Marriott, along with her knowledge of Lexington truly set her apart,” said Barry Kuhnke, general manager. “We’re excited to have her on our team.”
Jones was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate of Georgetown College, in Georgetown, Ky. While at Georgetown College she achieved a bachelor of science degree in marketing and communications. Her love for Lexington, Ky. kept her from moving away and she joined the hospitality industry as a sales coordinator with a Marriott in Lexington.
Jones has been in sales and marketing with the Marriott family of brands for the last 11 years in Lexington. She has won the Service Excellence Award several times throughout her career being recognized by Marriott himself for outstanding guest service and satisfaction.

Jones is married to Robert Jones and they have a son named Graham.
