FRANKFORT, Ky. — Gov. Matt Bevin today announced the launch of an interactive website — www.BevinAnnualReport.com — highlighting the accomplishments of year three of the Bevin Administration.
“In just three years’ time, Kentucky has moved to the forefront of national influence, steadily gaining recognition as America’s center for engineering and manufacturing excellence,” said Gov. Bevin. “The Commonwealth’s transformational pro-business policies, legislation and programs are yielding truly historic results—more than $18.1 billion in private investment, over 50,000 new jobs created, and the highest workforce participation in state history. Kentucky is on an exciting upward trajectory toward becoming the greatest possible version of itself, as we build a strong foundation for future economic growth and prosperity.”
The site, titled “Promises Made, Promises Kept,” recaps the historic successes the Commonwealth achieved in 2018, categorized into six primary priorities:
- Strengthening Kentucky’s Financial Foundation,
- Growing Our Economy,
- Creating a Healthier Kentucky,
- Protecting Our Communities,
- Investing in Education and Workforce Development, and
- Serving Those Who Serve Us
