LEXINGTON, Ky. — In light of forecasts calling for dangerously cold temperatures, all Fayette County Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019. All school activities are also canceled.
The school district will be monitoring the weather closely to make determinations about Thursday and Friday, should conditions warrant and will make every effort to announce decisions about closings or delays as early as possible in order to give families adequate time to make arrangements.
