Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky.  Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Kristopher J. Kellinghaus has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Public Employees Deferred Compensation Authority Board.

  • Kristopher J. Kellinghaus, of Fort Thomas, is an investment advisor. He will serve for a term expiring Jan. 16, 2023.

The Kentucky Public Employees Deferred Compensation Authority is composed of seven members, four of whom are appointed by the Governor, which serve as trustees of and administers the Kentucky State Public Employees Compensation Trust Fund.

Jay Brett Delaney has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision.

  • Jay Brett Delaney, of Cynthiana, is a circuit judge. He will represent the judicial branch and serve for a term expiring Sept. 6, 2022.

The Kentucky Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision guides the transfer of offenders in a manner that promotes effective supervision strategies consistent with public safety, offender accountability, and victim’s rights. All states and US territories are active with this mission.

Judy Bartlett Long has been appointed as a member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Funding Commission Board of Directors.

  • Judy Bartlett Long, of Versailles, is a claims manager. She will represent self-insured employers in the Commonwealth and serve for a term expiring Nov. 18, 2022.

The Funding Commission is governed by a board of seven members, which includes three Cabinet secretaries (or their designees) representing Labor, Economic Development, and Finance and Administration. Four additional members are appointed by the Governor to represent specific industry segments relating to workers’ compensation issues.
