CTI names overseer of global clinical monitoring dept.

COVINGTON, Ky. — CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services has expanded the role of Lorri Erhardt to vice president of global clinical monitoring.

CTI is a multi-national, privately-held, full-service contract research organization.

“We are happy to recognize the growth of Lorri’s role to cover all of our clinical monitoring services and operations across the globe,” said Kevin Schwarz, chief operating officer. “Her leadership has already proven to be invaluable to the growing department, and we look forward to the improvements she will make to our team on a global level.”

Erhardt joined CTI in 2016 as vice president, clinical monitoring. In her expanded role, she will be providing direct management oversight for the global clinical monitoring department.

Prior to joining CTI, Erhardt developed her leadership skills in roles such as executive director, global head clinical site & document management at Astellas, director of clinical operations at Takeda, and director of global clinical development, North America, and executive director, global head on-site monitoring at Kendle International.

She also spent nearly two decades at Pfizer (formerly Searle and Pharmacia), where she began her career in the industry as a clinical research associate and worked her way to senior director, head of U.S. field operations.

Erhardt has a bachelor of science in medical technology from Gannon College and has written for dozens of publications.
