Allegiant partners with CVG to celebrate 5 years and millions of passengers flown

HEBRON, Ky. — Allegiant and Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) today celebrated five years of ultra-low-cost, nonstop service and millions of passengers with free Graeter’s doughnuts and airfare giveaways. Allegiant and CVG invited the community to take part in the celebration at The Westin Cincinnati.

“We’re very excited to celebrate this tremendous milestone at CVG,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president or planning and revenue. “This major accomplishment would not have been possible without our outstanding partners at CVG and the support from the community. Thank you, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky!”

Allegiant and CVG invited the community to celebrate by offering free doughnuts on Wednesday, February 13th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Westin Cincinnati. Five winners walked away with round-trip airfare for two and 25 others with a $100 travel voucher to any Allegiant destination from CVG.

Since 2014, more than 3 million Allegiant passengers have traveled through CVG. Allegiant offers nonstop, ultra-low-cost flights to 20 cities from CVG and as a base, is home to five Airbus aircraft and more than 100 crew and support staff.

“The community has truly embraced Allegiant and its low-cost service to exciting destinations,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “We look forward to their continued growth and next big milestone at CVG.”
