Mercer names new Kentucky office leader

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mercer recently appointed Kelley Bright as the Kentucky office leader, based in Mercer’s Louisville office. Her responsibilities include building and strengthening local client relationships, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence, as well as developing talent.

Bright is reporting to Paige Clay, market leader for the Carolinas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.

“We are excited to welcome Kelley to this new position,” said Clay. “Her leadership experience, industry knowledge and proven track record of success will help us further provide exceptional service and solutions to our clients while strategically growing our business across all lines of business.”

Bright is passionate about the promotion and advancement of women and is a board member and former president for Women Influencing Louisville (WIL), a non-profit organization that focuses on issues that support women’s career advancement. Through this organization, Bright has had the opportunity to host an annual conference with the goal of transforming the corporate landscape.

Bright has more than 25 years of experience, both with global professional consulting firms and within the industry.

Prior to Mercer, Bright worked at Ernst & Young LLP for 17 years, most recently serving as the assistant director for business development.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is also a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Louisville Ignite program and 2009 Bingham Fellows program.
