Community Trust Bank promotes Frederick to Mount Vernon market president

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Betty Cameron Frederick has been promoted to Mount Vernon market president of Community Trust Bank, Mark A. Gooch, president and CEO, announced Tuesday.

Frederick’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services.

Through its subsidiaries, Community Trust also offers trust and wealth management services and brokerage services. Frederick also manages the two branch offices in the Mount Vernon market. Her office is located at 2134 Lake Cumberland Road in Mount Vernon.

Frederick has worked for Community Trust Bank for more than 14 years as a secretary, teller, head teller, loan assistant, loan officer and branch manager.

She graduated from Mount Vernon High School and Harry Sparks Vocation School where she earned a business degree.

She is an A-Pass Weikel Real Estate Associate with a license in Escrow. Frederick also passed the certification for pharmacy technician while employed at Somerset Pharmacy.

Frederick is active in fundraising for the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Wounded Warriors and local charities such as Bethany House Abuse Shelter and the local animal shelter.

She is an active member of Lake Cumberland Nazarene Church and volunteers for different ministries within the church, such as the ladies fellowship group, which she leads. She lives in Somerset.
