Covington’s first high-rise rental community, Madison Place, now open for tours

COVINGTON, Ky. — Covington, Kentucky-based real estate investment group Corporex Cos. LLC, has announced a partnership with Village Green, and the start of pre-leasing for its newest development, Madison Place. Located at 50 West RiverCenter Boulevard, Madison Place will be the only truly riverfront luxury-living high rise along the Ohio River. The apartments will offer residents unparalleled views of the Cincinnati riverfront, and all the conveniences of an urban setting without the downtown Cincinnati crowds.

With construction currently underway on the 14 story/187 unit development, Village Green and Corporex are excited to bring an avant-garde approach to the pre-leasing experience. Prospects interested in becoming a part of this exciting new development will get to tour through the project as if it were complete through a first-of-its-kind virtual reality (VR) experience. Created by Northern Kentucky resident Ryan Fellers, the virtual models of each apartment provide an immersive, highly-detailed tour of what the finished spaces will look like. Viewers can “walk” through each floorplan model, changing finishing styles with the click of a button. As this project will also deliver unprecedented and ever-changing views, the VR experience also allows users to toggle between daytime and nighttime modes. As the VR technology is portable, Village Green has the ability to deliver tours of the project from anywhere.

“I believe VR is groundbreaking for the real estate industry. Instead of a 2D floor plan, VR allows you to walk through the kitchen or step out on the balcony and peer over the railing. It allows you to simply press a button to view a different kitchen finish or try out a balcony on the other side of the building instantly,” said Fellers. “Madison Place conducts VR tours with cutting-edge Oculus Rift and Oculus Quest VR headsets, which use cameras to track and translate your movements to a set of virtual cameras in a computer model. Views from the virtual cameras are then displayed on the headset at the rate of 90 times per second. The result is a completely immersive experience.”

“The residential rental community at Madison Place is unlike anything else in the Greater Cincinnati region,” said James Sellar, Regional Sales & Marketing director of Village Green. “Cincinnati properties cannot offer the views of downtown Cincinnati as our location from across the river can. And our innovative VR technology tours allow us to communicate this in a way to potential residents that no one else is able to do.”

Madison Place features a tiered covered parking garage underneath the building and 24-hour front desk security, in addition to such common space amenities as a spacious club room, professionally appointed fitness center, pet spa, demonstration kitchen, club level coffee lounge, and more. Units are available in studio, one and two-bedroom floorplans, ranging in size up to 2,000 square feet (among the largest in the Greater Cincinnati market).

Virtual residential tours are now available, with delivery of finished units scheduled for late 2019. To learn more about Madison Place, visit its website at https://livemadisonplace.com/.
