Community Trust Bank promotes Harrison to Williamsburg market president

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Jamie Harrison has been promoted to Williamsburg, Ky. market president, Mark A. Gooch, president and CEO of Community Trust Bank announced Wednesday.

Harrison’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services.

Through its subsidiaries, Community Trust also offers trust and wealth management services and brokerage services. The Williamsburg market includes two office locations in Williamsburg, two in London and one in Corbin. Harrison shares time between the offices located at 201 North Third Street in downtown Williamsburg and 38 Shiloh Drive in London.

Harrison graduated from North Laurel High School and has worked for Community Trust Bank as a commercial loan officer since 2016.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Eastern Kentucky University.

Harrison has been a volunteer with the Cumberland Valley Fraternal Order of Police, Shop with a Cop program since 1996 and the secretary/treasurer since 2013.  He has been a member of the London Rotary Club since 2005 and the Dictionary Project Chair since 2007.

He has been a member of the London Laurel Chamber of Commerce Ambassador’s Club since 2016. He was appointed to the London/Laurel County Tourist Commission in 2016 and has served as its treasurer since 2017.

He has also been a member of the East Bernstadt Fire Department Board and a member of the London Laurel County D.A.R.E. Advisory Board since 2018.  He lives in East Bernstadt, Ky.
