$1M Powerball ticket sold in Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A ticket sold in Oak Grove, Ky., near Fort Campbell in Christian County, for Saturday’s Powerball drawing matched all five white ball winning numbers but not the Powerball, winning the game’s second prize of $1 million.

The winning Powerball numbers from last night’s drawing are:

1 – 9 – 22 – 36 – 68 with a Powerball of 22.

Kentucky Lottery security staff members executed a series of security checks at the retailer where the winning ticket was sold. Here is the name of the retailer that sold the winning ticket:

An Oak Grove resident stepped forward with the $1 million ticket sold for Saturday night’s Powerball drawing. The winner, who wished to remain anonymous, arrived at Kentucky Lottery headquarters Monday with family. The winner hopes to use some of the funds for travel, and then plans to put the rest of it to work. “This is a life-changing event, and I plan on using this wisely,” the winner said.
