Primary care sports medicine practitioner joins Clark Orthopedic & Spine

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Clark Memorial Health has announced that Jennifer Teeter, DO, primary care sports medicine practitioner is joining Clark Orthopedic & Spine.

Dr. Teeter comes to Clark Orthopedic & Spine from Upstate New York and most recently practiced nonsurgical Sports Medicine at Northtowns Orthopedics in the Upstate New York area. Also, she is a certified clinical densitometrist and osteoporosis specialist. Dr. Teeter was the team physician for the Canadian Women’s Lacrosse National Team that won the Silve Medal at the World Cup in England in July 2017. She was also the head team physician at Hilbert College (Division III) from 2010 until 2018, providing medical and sports medicine services.

Dr. Teeter received her Doctor of Osteopathy in 2006 at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsyvlania. She is certified by the Primary Care Sports Medicine Certificate of Added Qualifications and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice.

“I am excited to begin practicing primary care sports medicine in southern Indiana and look forward to providing care for patients with sports or activity related injuries and illness,” said Dr. Teeter.

Dr. Teeter will provide a range of services for patients focusing on injury prevention and rehabilitation,
sports or physical activity-related injuries and osteoporosis treatments.
