Luckett & Farley adds electrical engineer to Higher Education Design Studio

David Heiss

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Luckett & Farley has named David Heiss electrical engineer.

Prior to joining the Louisville-based architecture, interior design and engineering firm, Heiss worked for a firm in Evansville, Ind. He brings extensive experience working on various project types involving lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, nurse call, security and telecommunications. His experience in the education sector includes electrical designs for athletic facilities, renovations and new construction, making him a perfect fit for the firm’s Higher Education Design Studio.

Heiss graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

“I’m looking forward to providing creative energy and efficient lighting design in Luckett & Farley’s unique studio environment,” Heiss says.

Outside of the office, Heiss enjoys woodworking and road cycling. He also serves on the board of directors for a western Kentucky non-profit that provides financial assistance to families struggling with medical bills.
