Forcht Bank market president to retire

Chip Regenbogen

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Forcht Bank’s Market President in Northern Kentucky, Chip Regenbogen, will be retiring after spending 42 years in the financial services industry. Regenbogen will be working to transition his clients over to Stephen Brunson, incoming market president, until the end of January 2020.

Regenbogen joined Forcht Bank in August 2004 as president and CEO of Boone National Bank, a charter of Forcht Bancorp. When the 10 charters consolidated into one bank in 2010 creating Forcht Bank, he took on the role of Market President to continue to serve to the Burlington community and its customer base. During his time with Forcht Bank he helped grow the Northern Kentucky market creating a strong footing in the region and easing the transition for the bank into Ohio.

“It has been a privilege and pleasure working with clients, friends, co-workers, and the Forcht Bank leadership team,” said Regenbogen.

“During his time here, he has truly embodied the vision and values of the bank to provide a level of customer service that has helped us stand apart from our peers,” says Tucker Ballinger, Forcht Bank president & CEO. “Chip has been essential to creating a solid foundation for us in the market, and while we are sad to see him go, we are supportive and happy for him as he begins a new chapter.”

Forcht Bank is a Kentucky-owned community bank with approximately $1.2 billion in assets and 24 banking centers in 13 community markets — Fayette, Jefferson, Boone, Grant, Madison, Taylor, Pulaski, Laurel, Whitley, Knox, Hamilton and Green.
