Elliston resigns from Keeneland

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Bob Elliston, a longtime racing industry executive, has resigned from his position as vice president of racing at Keeneland. His resignation is effective at the end of the month.

Elliston joined Keeneland in August 2016 as the position of vice president of racing and sales. Prior to joining Keeneland, he was executive vice president and chief operations officer of Breeders’ Cup Ltd. since May 2012.

Elliston is a native of Florence, Ky. After graduating cum laude at Eastern Kentucky University, Elliston went on to work for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce in Frankfort from 1986 to 1992, serving as vice president of economic and community development and representing the Chamber before the Kentucky General Assembly and the United States Congress.
