LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sandy Hammonds, CFO and vice president of finance for Link-Belt Cranes, was elected to Link-Belt Cranes’ board of directors during the January 2021 board meeting. Sumitomo Heavy Industry (SHI) representatives attended the meeting by video conference; Link-Belt Cranes is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SHI.
Hammonds began her Link-Belt career as a cost accountant in 1988 and progressed through all levels of accounting and finance departments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA from Xavier University. Hammonds maintains a Certified Public Accountant designation.
Link-Belt Cranes, with headquarters in Lexington, is a leader in the design and manufacture of telescopic boom and lattice boom cranes for the construction industry worldwide.
