Lisa Drake announced as keynote speaker for GLI Annual Meeting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Lisa Drake, chief operating officer of Ford North America, will give the keynote address at Greater Louisville Inc.‘s (GLI) Annual Meeting, presented by Baird, on June 10. This year’s event will center around resilience and recognize members of the business community who have persevered through the challenges of the past year.

Drake stepped into the newly created role of COO in May 2020 and has prioritized product launches, warranty reduction and material cost improvements. She has also renewed the company’s focus on returning the North America business back to a 10% EBIT margin through her work on cost and waste reduction. She has worked for Ford since 1994, serving in multiple capacities including vice president of global purchasing.

GLI’s Annual Meeting, presented by Baird, is the business community’s premier event and typically includes 1200+ attendees.
