LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Lisa Drake, chief operating officer of Ford North America, will give the keynote address at Greater Louisville Inc.‘s (GLI) Annual Meeting, presented by Baird, on June 10. This year’s event will center around resilience and recognize members of the business community who have persevered through the challenges of the past year.
Drake stepped into the newly created role of COO in May 2020 and has prioritized product launches, warranty reduction and material cost improvements. She has also renewed the company’s focus on returning the North America business back to a 10% EBIT margin through her work on cost and waste reduction. She has worked for Ford since 1994, serving in multiple capacities including vice president of global purchasing.
“We are honored to have Lisa Drake give the keynote address at this year’s annual meeting,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “Ford continues to be an invaluable investor in our local economy and a generous partner in the community. We are looking forward to hearing her insights into how the company has persevered through this pandemic and their plans for future innovation.”
