TKT and Associates honors its founder with Louisville Minority Business Accelerator and grants

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – When TKT & Associates founder and CEO Tierra Kavanaugh passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2020, she left a void the Louisville business community can never fill. To honor her memory, TKT has created the Minority Business Accelerator program that will award two grants to early-stage, black-owned businesses.

The application period is now open.

During the 12-week program, the two companies will receive professional mentoring and assistance in accounting, legal services, and technical assistance. In addition, they will each receive a $10,000 equity-free investment from TKT & Associates to help grow their businesses.

“We felt this was the perfect tribute to Tierra. She had a passion for helping small businesses and women and minority-owned companies. She accomplished so much in a short time and stands as an inspiration not only to those who knew her but for the generations of female entrepreneurs who follow. We miss her every day,” said Shelia Kavanaugh CEO TKT & Associates.
