FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentuckians for Better Transportation (KBT), a statewide transportation association, that has a long history of educating and advocating for all modes of transportation in Kentucky announces our new Member and Events Coordinator, Missy Angolia.

Before joining KBT, Missy was the Executive Director of the Great American Brass Band Festival in Danville. Over the last 10 years, she has worked as a Talent Recruiter for Incipio Workforce Solutions in Louisville, and as the Event & Member Coordinator at the Heart of Danville Main Street Program.

Missy holds a BA in English from Bellarmine University and resides in Danville with her husband, Brian, and daughter, Maddy.

“I am thrilled to welcome Missy to our team,” noted Jennifer Kirchner, KBT Executive Director. “Not only does she have the depth of experience with membership services and event management but she is focused and full of positive energy. Her ability and attitude will be of great benefit to our members.”

“I am very excited about joining KBT,” Angolia said. “It is a wonderful opportunity for me to use my event experience and people skills, and take them to a new level. The opportunity to meet individuals from and travel across the state is something I am very much looking forward to in my new role.”
