LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Spalding University has been recognized for its honorable commitment to helping undergraduate students learn, grow and succeed by Colleges of Distinction, a unique guide for college-bound students. Spalding University has been named a 2022-2023 College of Distinction, Kentucky College of Distinction and Catholic College of Distinction.
Colleges of Distinction advocate for schools whose undergraduate experiences are grounded in a philosophy of well-rounded, individualized engagement. Among these institutions, Spalding University delivers leading-edge undergraduate education programs as education transforms alongside constant changes in technology, public policy, employer demands and more.
Already honored as a College of Distinction for its high-impact approach to education, Spalding University has received specialized recognition in Education, Business, and Nursing. Spalding University has also earned an award for Equity & Inclusion.

Colleges of Distinction believe that a thorough selection process requires more than an overview of institutional data, statistics and the size of the endowment. Instead, the Colleges of Distinction selection process comprises a sequence of in-depth research and detailed interviews with the schools, accepting only those that adhere to the Four Distinctions: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community and Successful Outcomes.
