MAP Health & Wellview rebrand as SentryHealth

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — SentryHealth, a leader in employee health and wellbeing solutions, announced a strategic move to consolidate brands.

In 2021, the company acquired MAP Health, a provider of health care navigation and medical advocacy services. Earlier this year, it merged with Wellview, a provider of virtual health coaching, chronic condition management, and mental health support.

Over the next several months, MAP and Wellview will transition to the SentryHealth brand. “There are hundreds of vendors in this space, all competing for attention,” said Amanda Evans, SentryHealth’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Integrating services and combining them under one brand will simplify the experience for our members, clients, and partners. It also generates cost synergies that will be redirected into service enhancements while maintaining our position as an affordable alternative to other vendors in the market.”

By combining the three companies, SentryHealth offers benefit advisors, third-party administrators, and employers a one-stop shop for employee health and wellbeing solutions. Available services include:

  • Population Health & Risk Analysis
  • Care Concierge
  • Precertification
  • Case Management
  • Health Coaching
  • Chronic Condition Management
  • Mental Health Therapy
  • Ongoing Member Education & Engagement

“We built our approach based on our experiences with the health care system, both professionally as a business and personally as a consumer,” said J. Kevin Porter, SentryHealth’s CEO. “It’s not enough to just put a health plan in place. Navigating care and our health care system is complicated. To help our employees and control costs for our businesses, personalized guidance and support is the key.”

The company’s unique position centers on three core capabilities that drive higher ROI. Combining advanced data science, intuitive technology, and a highly experienced clinical team, SentryHealth builds a personalized care plan and matches members to the highest value, lowest cost care. As a result, it helps people take better care of themselves, increasing satisfaction and lowering costs.
