Sullivan University announces leadership change

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sullivan University has announced changes in the school’s leadership as it prepares for the lengthy process of reaffirming its accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission of Colleges (SACSCOC).  

While Glenn Sullivan remains Chancellor and CEO of the Sullivan University System, Sullivan has announced that Associate Provost and Executive Dean of the College of Business and Technology Dr. Tim Swenson has been appointed President by the Sullivan University Board of Directors. 

Dr. Swenson holds a bachelor’s degree with an accounting emphasis, an MBA from Bellarmine University, and a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Argosy University. 

Dr. Jay Marr has been named Vice Chancellor and will report directly to Sullivan Chancellor and CEO Glenn Sullivan as he works closely with university officials on the accreditation and reaffirmation efforts.
