BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Houchens Industries, Inc. Chairman and CEO, Dion W. Houchins is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Coleman to the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Houchens Industries, Inc.
In this role, Mr. Coleman will be responsible for managing the company’s financial activities, including tracking and analyzing cash flows, reviewing and developing investment strategies, managing the company’s banking relationships and preparing financial forecasts. In addition, Mr. Coleman is also responsible for the administration of the Houchens ESOP as well as governmental relationships and political strategies for Houchens.
Mr. Coleman joined Houchens in 2011 as controller of a Houchens wholly owned subsidiary. His role quickly transitioned to that of providing financial support and analysis to the Houchens executive management team and assuming responsibility for the Houchens ESOP.
Mr. Coleman has served on numerous professional, charitable and civic boards and is currently a board member with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA) and the Kentucky Retail Federation.
Mr. Coleman received a bachelor’s degree from Transylvania University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife, Michelle, have one daughter, Penny Jeanne.
