Aisan locating in Mt. Sterling, retaining 650 local manufacturing jobs

MT. STERLING, Ky. — Montgomery County Industrial Authority is pleased to welcome Aisan Industry Kentucky, LLC to Mt. Sterling’s Woodland Industrial Park. The Aisan Industry Company purchased the company that operated as KDMK last September and this past Monday was announced that it would now operate under the name Aisan Industry Kentucky, LLC (AIK).

AIK president Kazahiko Nishimura gave his appreciation to the community, suppliers, clients, and employees for their help with the transition and planned to continue to produce high-quality automotive products. “I’m truly grateful to all of you for helping us with this significant milestone,” Nishimura stated.

The Mt. Sterling – Montgomery County Industrial Authority is happy to partner with the AIK to provide our community with great career opportunities. Providing our community with these great career opportunities allows our community to grow and individuals to build families and live the American dream.

Executive Director Jason Rainey states, “We are excited as a community Aisan of Kentucky continues to invest in Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County and provide great job opportunities to the region. KDMK has been a part of our industrial park and our business community for 20-plus years and we look forward to a strong relationship with Aisan. The plant currently has a total of 650 employees and the new ownership group will continue to invest in the facility,” Rainey said.
