SMC Corporation of America has announced plans to build a new 825,000-square-foot facility in Noblesville, Ind., approximately 15 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
The new building will house the company’s North American headquarters as well as its primary engineering, manufacturing and distribution center. The expansion will create 275 new jobs.
As part of the $45 million project, the company will relocate its Indianapolis North American headquarters to the new Noblesville facility in 2009.
