2008 Super Duty Begins Production at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant

LOUISVILLE, KY., Dec. 18, 2006– With towing capacity in excess of 24,000 pounds, the all-new 2008 Ford Super Duty will set a new standard for the industry. Production of the new Super Duty began today at Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant near Louisville. Ford recently invested $65 million in the plant to support the launch of the new pickup. The Ford F-Series, which includes both the popular F-150 and Super Duty line, is on track to be the best-selling vehicle in America for the 30th consecutive year. (12/18/2006)
