Hagan named to Covington Business Council board of directors

COVINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2013) — George Hagan, founder and president of Providence Pavilion, was appointed today to the Covington Business Council (CBC) board of directors for a two-year term.

Hagan’s term, which will run through March 1, 2015, was announced by CBC Executive Director Pat Frew.

“George is a man of integrity and is a recognized business leader and investor in our community,” Frew said. “His keen insights and strong desire to see the city grow and prosper will not only benefit the Council but the community as well.”

Hagan was part of an investor group that purchased the historic St. Elizabeth North hospital campus in 2009. A diverse group of enterprises operate there including Providence Pavilion’s rehabilitation and nursing center, professional offices, day care centers and community services operations.

Hagan also is founder and president of Progressive Health Care Systems, a financial and operational management company for nursing and rehabilitation centers in Ohio and Kentucky. He also launched Covington-based Distinctive Dining Solutions, an innovative food service company catering to seniors and children in day centers and health care facilities.
