FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 4, 2013) — Registration is open for the Ninth Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky Awards Dinner, set for April 16 at the Lexington Convention Center. The winners were announced in late January, but their rankings on the list will be revealed at the dinner.
Those who would like to attend may register online here. The reception is at 4:30 p.m.; the dinner and awards presentation are at 6 p.m.
The annual contest, sponsored by the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM), in conjunction with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. It is based on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list.
Winners from across the state have been selected in two categories: small/medium-sized employer (companies of 25 to 249 U.S. employees) and large-sized employer (companies of 250 U.S. employees or greater). The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.
For more information about the awards dinner, contact Lori Jo Hill at (502) 848-8727 or [email protected].
