In its 24-year history, the committee has raised over $1 million to support the life-saving programs and services of Saint Joseph and Saint Joseph East hospitals.

“The tremendous impact provided by the S*T*A*R*S committee has helped thousands of our patients and families throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.  When we witness donor dollars infused back into the communities we serve, it reminds us our true purpose is to help those in need,” said Barry A. Stumbo, president, Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation.

Dr. Kimberly Stigers added, “These gifts are important to the Breast Center because they allow us to examine women who do not have the means to receive a mammogram every year and assists in prevention, diagnosis and treatment for the thousands of patients we see each year.”
