LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), the nation’s third-largest faith-based health system that encompasses KentuckyOne Health, has begun the rollout of FacilityONE’s Facility Information Solution to 19 of its hospitals, representing the first phase of the rollout to the CHI network of hospitals across 17 states.
Following a national search for a facility management solution — commonly referred to as: Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS), Computer Assisted Facility Management solution (CAFM), and Enterprise Asset Management solution (EAM) — Englewood, Colo.-based CHI determined that the web-based facility management software provided by FacilityONE, which is delivered through cloud technology, offered the greatest scalability and flexibility in accomplishing its goals.
KentuckyOne Health formed in 2011 and includes Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare; the Saint Joseph Health System; University of Louisville Hospital and James Graham Brown Cancer Center. It includes 16 hospitals and more than 200 total facilities with roughly 18,000 employees and 3,000 physicians.
