Dunnville: Tarter Farm and Ranch to Manufacture Ferboli Equipment

Tarter Farm and Ranch Equipment has reached an agreement with Italian agricultural equipment company Feraboli Equipment to make and distribute equipment for Feraboli and its United States-based customers.

Feraboli, headquartered in Cremona, Italy, is a 130-year-old company that produces some of the top agricultural equipment in the industry. Tarter is a 66-year-old company based in Dunnville that has grown into one of the largest three-point equipment manufacturers and distributors in the nation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Feraboli will provide its proprietary technologies and knowledge on selected product lines to Tarter for manufacture and distribution to Tarter and Feraboli customers throughout the United States.

“This agreement further solidifies Tarter’s position in the growing heavy ag market and further strengthens our position as a leading original equipment manufacturer for our customers here in the United States,” said Tarter Vice President Josh Tarter. “We are able to immediately leverage the experience and technology of Feraboli’s proven equipment in the ag industry. This agreement furthers our business, Feraboli’s business, and the business of our heavy ag dealers. We feel like everyone wins with this arrangement.”

Tarter is currently completing a $3 million expansion in facilities and equipment in their heavy ag division and plans to add more than 75 jobs in their Liberty, Ky., plant, where it manufactures three-point equipment, skid-steer attachments, snow removal equipment, construction equipment, and cattle-handling equipment.
