LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2013) — Louisville’s Starks Building is reportedly under contract to be purchased by Continental Realty Advisors, a Littleton, Colo.-based real estate investment firm.
Business First reported Thursday that an investment manager with the firm has confirmed that the company is working on a deal to buy the historic downtown property.
Continental Realty Advisors has purchased several apartment complexes in recent years, Business First said, including Canter Chase, Prospect Park Apartment Homes, Meadows Apartment Homes, Oxmoor Apartment Homes, Brookside Apartment Homes and Jamestown at St. Matthews.
The Starks Building transaction could be completed by the end of the year. The 360,000-s.f., 14-story building last sold in 2006.
