Center will house cosmetology and massage therapy programs
COVINGTON (Oct. 6, 2014) — A groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday for the Center for Professional Services at the Urban Metro Campus of Gateway Community and Technical College at 440 Scott Boulevard in Covington.
Scheduled to open in the spring of 2015, the center will house Gateway’s Cosmetology and Massage Therapy programs in the same location for the first time.
“The new storefront location downtown will be much more convenient for the public and give our students even more experience as entrepreneurs,” said Ed Hughes, Gateway president/CEO. “These students will likely become small business owners so we want their education and training to simulate a business atmosphere.”
