LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 13, 2012) — Opportunities to learn about and apply for job openings abound in the coming month.
To expedite the registration process at the events, applicants are advised to register in advance with FocusCareer System.
Job seekers should bring their resumes and come dressed for interviews.
Wausau Paper will be conduct a job fair at the Lion’s Park Community Center, 450 East Factory Street in Harrodsburg, on Thursday, April 19 from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Applications will be accepted, resumes will be reviewed and interviews will take place on the spot.
The Lexington Career Center will be host job fair at the Marriott Griffin Gate on Newtown Pike in Lexington on Thursday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Veterans only will be admitted from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome from noon to 4 p.m.
The Career Center in Georgetown will conduct a job fair on May 1 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Georgetown. The 9:30 to 10 a.m. slot is reserved for veterans. Everyone is welcome from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Madison County will host a job fair Thursday, May 10 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Armed Forced Reserve Center, 233 Battlefield Circle in Richmond. Veterans and spouses of 100 percent disabled veterans will be admitted from 2 to 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome for the rest of the fair.
Several employers will be on hand.
