Kentucky high school students chosen for 2015 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band

Will perform at halftime of All-American Bowl

Army bandLEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 11, 2014) — Kentucky will be represented during halftime of the All-American Bowl, with six state high school students chosen to participate in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.

The band, which is made up of 125 members, will perform at halftime of the high school All-American game on Jan. 3, 2015 in San Antonio. The game, which features the top 90 high school players in the country, begins at 1 p.m. and will air on NBC.

Kentuckians named to the band:

  • Leticia Nunez, color guard — Calloway County High School, Murray.
  • Prashant Chakradhar, marching baritone — Murray High School, Murray.
  • Jon Michael Hamilton, sousaphone — Warren Central High School, Bowling Green.
  • Joshua Scott, marching baritone — Cumberland County High School, Burkesville.
  • Chase Teachey, baritone — Lafayette High School, Lexington.
  • Ryan Booth, trumpet — Lafayette High School, Lexington.
