Louisville Metro Government to hold surplus vehicle auction

LOUISVLLE, Ky. (Nov. 25, 2014) — Louisville Metro Government will hold a surplus vehicle auction at 9 a.m. on Dec. 2 at the Fleet Services Lot, 3515 Newburg Rd.

metroApproximately 60 vehicles, including many Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, will be up for auction.

Bidders can begin viewing the vehicles at 8 a.m., but will not be allowed to start the vehicles.

Acceptable forms of payment are local company check, certified check, cashier’s check, money orders and cash. Vehicles must be paid for by 2 p.m. on the day of the auction.

All vehicles are sold “as is.” Some parts or equipment may be missing. Any police equipment will be removed prior to sale. The Auction Inventory List shows vehicles with salvage titles and missing keys.
