Heather Rogers hired as executive director of SKYCTC Foundation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Dec. 22, 2014) — Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) has hired Heather Rogers as the new executive director of the SKYCTC Foundation and associate VP of Institutional Advancement. She will begin her position in January, succeeding Donna Martin, who is retiring from SKYCTC after 28 years.

“Joining SKYCTC affords me the amazing opportunity to take the next step in my career while continuing to do what I truly enjoy, and that is helping students reach their goals and improve their lives,” Rogers said. “I am honored to follow Donna Martin and continue the success that she has achieved for the Foundation and the College.”

Rogers has served as president of Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky since 1999. She joined Junior Achievement after a six-year tenure at United Way of Southern Kentucky. Rogers is a 1989 graduate of Western Kentucky University and received the 2010 WKU Alumna of the Year award. Rogers has also completed the Penn State Executive Program – Strategic Leadership.  She and her husband Jay have two children: Hunter, 19 and Taylor, 16.
