Beshear, legislators to speak at Kentucky Chamber Day

Business leaders, legislators speak in Lexington

LEXINGTON, KY — More than 1,300 Kentucky business leaders are attending the 20th Annual Kentucky Chamber Day on Thursday evening, January 8. During the event, Gov. Steve Beshear and the state’s top legislative leaders will share their visions for Kentucky’s economy, government and politics for 2015.Kentucky Chamber of Commerce

Kentucky Chamber Day is occurring at the Lexington Convention Center in Heritage Hall. Beginning at 7:10 p.m., the senate president, speaker of the house, senate minority leader and house minority leader are to also offer their thoughts on the current General Assembly session. Gov. Beshear is slated to take the stage at 8:15 p.m. The event begins with a reception at 5:00 p.m.

Kentucky Chamber Chairman Wil James, president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky, and Chamber President and CEO Dave Adkisson will also speak on Chamber priorities for 2015.
