Classes begin March 5
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Feb. 3, 2015) — The City of Bowling Green is accepting applications for the Bowling Green Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy.
The class meets from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday for 10 sessions beginning on March 5.
The curriculum includes:
- Overview of Department Operations and Organizations
- Criminal Justice System
- Patrol Operations
- Communications and the processing of calls for service
- Firearms Training
- K-9 Demonstration / Traffic Stops
- Criminal Investigations/Crime Scene Processing and Investigation
