FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 12, 2015) — The Kentucky Labor Cabinet will hold free OSHA training courses at Builders Exchange in Louisville. Registration is currently open.
Training courses:
Monday, Feb. 23
- Overview of the Kentucky OSHA Program: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Welding: 1-4 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 24
- Injury and Illness Recordkeeping: 8 a.m.-noon (participants will receive an OSHA Training Institute certificate for this class from Eastern Kentucky University’s OSHA Training Institute Education Center.)
- Construction Safety: 1-4 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 25
- Hazard Communication/Global Harmonization: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Basic Electrical Safety 1-4 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 26
- Fall Protection (construction) 8:30-11:30 a.m.
- Health Hazards in Construction 1-4 p.m.
