Kentucky Crafted adds 15 new artists this year

More than 200 artists will be at event

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 19, 2015) — Among the more than 200 artists who are exhibiting at Kentucky Crafted: The Market March 7-8 at Lexington Convention Center are 15 Kentucky Crafted program artists who are new to the show.

Kentucky Arts CouncilThe Market is the largest gathering of Kentucky artists under one roof and is the Kentucky Arts Council’s signature event for artists in the Kentucky Crafted program to display and sell their work to a broad base of consumers and wholesale buyers. The new artists are:

  • Julie Warren Conn, Conn Fine Art & Design (stone and metal sculpture), Lexington

  • Gary Graham, Gary Graham Wood Art (wood), Lexington
  • Doug Haley, Fine Wine Caddy (wooden utensils and wine caddies), Berea
  • Debra Klopp, Klopp Studio (mixed media figures), Corbin
  • Alisha Martin, The Bad Button Bespoke Corsets (designer corsetry), Georgetown
  • Peggy Modjeski, Woofsong Woolies (needle felted wool animal figures), Louisville
