LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 24, 2015) — Proponents of the so-called “Physical Internet” system believe that by handling, storing and transporting goods through a shared network of manufacturers, retailers and shippers, the economy would improve and greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced.

Benoit Montreuil will discuss the Physical Internet and how it could transform the way goods are moved, stored, supplied and used at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chao Auditorium in the University of Louisville’s Ekstrom Library.

The talk is free and open to the public.
