Ermine artist appointed to Kentucky Arts Council board

Gov. Beshear reappoints three others to board

UnknownFRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 24, 2015) — Gov. Steve Beshear appointed Lacy Hale, of Ermine, as a board member of the Kentucky Arts Council for a four-year term that expires Feb. 1, 2019. Hale is a full-time artist, co-founder and coordinator of the regional arts group EpiCentre Arts, and coordinator of the Appalshop Gallery in Whitesburg.

Three board members have been reappointed to terms that will also expire Feb. 1, 2019:

  • John S. Hockensmith, Georgetown
  • Helen W. Mountjoy, Utica
  • Mary Michael Corbett, Louisville
