First course begins March 16
FLORENCE, Ky. (March 11, 2015) — Gateway Community and Technical College, in partnership with Lake Cumberland CDL Training School, now offers Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training.
This full-time CDL course, the only one of its kind in Northern Kentucky, is designed for those with little or no commercial driving experience who are interested a high pay, high demand field, or for companies seeking CDL certification for employees.
During four weeks of instruction in the classroom, yard and on the road, students will learn map-reading, trip-planning, DOT rules/regulations/log books, and are trained in vehicle operation.
The first class begins March 16 with, new classes beginning the first and third Monday of each month.
