LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 17, 2012) — The Young Professionals Association of Louisville conducts this year’s first installment of its CFO series Thursday with Brad Rives, the former CFO of LG&E and KU, who previously was recognized by Business First as the CFO of the Year for his leadership and accomplishments.
Rives will be the featured speaker at the after-work April 19 event at Bluegrass Brewing Co.’s newly unveiled Bourbon Barrel Loft downtown at 3rd and Main streets.
During his presentation, Rives will provide insight into his career path and leadership within the utilities industry and share his thoughts on the importance of community involvement. This event is designed for any young professional interested in learning more about leadership from a well-known business leader.
The event, sponsored by Mountjoy Chilton Medley accounting firm and Stoll Keenon Ogden law firm, will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with BBC hors d’oeuvres served and a cash bar. The event is free for YPAL members and $15 for non-members.
