BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (April 18, 2012) – PurePOWER Technologies, Western Kentucky University’s Center for Research and Development and WKU’s Office of Research will celebrate the opening of PurePOWER’s new Bowling Green facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Friday.
PurePOWER, a Navistar Company, is located in the Center for Research and Development, 2413 Nashville Road. An open house and tours of their facility will follow the ceremony.
Those making remarks include PurePOWER officials Houman Kashanipour, president; John Cagney, vice president for Engineering; and Jon Bigley, director of Engineering; and Gordon Baylis, WKU vice president for Research.
Tours of other research centers in the Center for Research and Development will be available 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
