Bourbon and cheese at stake in Final Four matchup

Gov. Beshear, Gov. Walker wager on Kentucky/Wisconsin game

FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 3, 2015) — Gov. Steve Beshear and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are wagering on their home teams in Saturday’s NCAA Final Four men’s basketball game.

Beshear bet a basket of Kentucky bourbons from Lexington-area distillers that the University of Kentucky will prevail over the University of Wisconsin. Walker bet a basket of Wisconsin cheese, sausage and root beer that Wisconsin will beat Kentucky in the matchup.

The game is scheduled for approximately 8:49 p.m. on Saturday in Indianapolis.
