FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 26, 2012) — Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky is planning a $32 million expansion to its Georgetown facility, according to information being presented today to the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.
The proposed project would add a new engine assembly line.
The KEDFA is considering a $6.5 million tax incentive. If approved, Toyota would be required to maintain its 6,000-employee base over the course of 10 years.
